Sarah Sweeney hails from Southport,home of the legendary Southport Soul Weekenders. Having had the privilege of being exposed to the sounds of world class djs from an early age, she has taken those influences and forged them into her unique sets that appeal to the heads as well as the happy go luckies. Her sets swing from House, to Jazz, Dubstep to Techno, Hip Hop, Funk and Soul and anything that may fit in between. As resident with top night Chibuku Shake Shake, she has rocked alongside the likes of Gilles Peterson, Roots Manuva, Mr Scruff, and at London’s Fabric alongside Jazzy Jeff, Tom Middleton and Zed Bias. She held a bi monthly residency at the Big Chill Bar, playing her much loved 5 hour sets, as well as guest slots in the Big Chill House.
